God's Designs Inc.
Our Story
God’s Designs, Inc. began in 2008 as a journey of faith by Gerry Harrah, with the support of her husband, Jim, after she was inspired to help a young mother in need of furniture. What started with donations stored in small downtown warehouses quickly outgrew its space, creating challenges due to limited resources.
In 2011, God’s Designs found a permanent home in a 5,000-square-foot vacant building on the property of First Gethsemane Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. The building required major renovations, which were funded through donations and carried out by contractors and dedicated volunteers.
Thanks to this foundation of generosity, hard work and faith, God’s Designs continues to grow and looks forward with hope, ready to serve more individuals and families in need for years to come.

As President of the Board, I am committed to ensuring that God’s Designs, Inc. remains a dynamic resource for our community. I’m honored to serve alongside an incredible Board of Directors and a dedicated group of volunteers.
